Lauren works with clients to help address issues such as:

  • Depression
  • Personal addiction (alcohol, cocaine, opiates, prescription drugs and street drugs)
  • Addiction of a loved one
  • Anxiety
  • Stress

Lauren works primarily in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework combined with motivational interviewing.

Initial Consultation (30 minutes) is free with a donation to the Shelbourne Community Kitchen. This consultation can be done either by phone or in person.

60 minute in office session - $120.00

60 minute “walk and talk” session - $120.00. Think better when you walk? Find nature to be therapeutic? Feel like you need to add more exercise into your routine? This may be the perfect way to do it. Following the initial consultation “walk and talk” appointments are available for those that would like to meet out of office. Maybe you have a favorite park, beach or trail? Lauren is able to meet you in an agreed upon location of your choice. “Walk and talk” appointments are available outside of standard business hours including evenings and weekends.


 

 

 

Insurance - Lauren is a Registered Social Worker (registration number 11859) with a Masters in Social Work. These services may be covered by private health insurance. Please check with your insurer prior to your first treatment session. Lauren is an approved provider for CVAP (Crime Victim Assistance Program) for individuals that have funding through this program.

Payment - Can be made via cash, cheque, e-transfer or credit card.

Cancellations - In case of cancellation we request 24 hours notice. Failing this we reserve the right to charge $50 for a missed appointment. In cases of illness or emergency there is lenience; please make an effort to let Lauren know as soon as possible.

Lauren will make an effort to let you know in advance if she will be away and give as much notice as possible if needing to cancel due to illness or emergency.
